5. Limit your salt intake- One step towards healthy eating is to limit your salt consumption. High sodium diet increases the risk of heart disease. It can damage your eye, heart, and kidney. Low sodium diet reduces the chances of getting stroke, osteoporosis and stomach cancer.
6. Include herbs in your diet- Adding tulsi leaves, garlic, and aloe vera in your diet would detox your body. Eating herbs promote heart health, boosts immunity, reduces inflammation, constipation and cholesterol level. Herbs contain anti-cancerous properties and reduce the risk of tumors.
7. Go for regular check-ups- Health check-ups are early indicators of any diseases. Regular check-ups detect problems before they start. They also reduce the risk of getting serious diseases. People with high BP and diabetes are advised to go for checkups at least after every 6 months.
