Tongue Tie Release Surgery in Basti
Tongue-tie (ankyloglossia) is a condition present at birth that restricts the tongue range of motion due to an unusually short, thick or tight band of tissues that tethers the bottom of the tongue tip to the floor of the mouth and affects the way a child eats, speaks and swallows. Tongue-tie is typically diagnosed during a physical exam. The surgeon cuts the tether using sterile scissors. This surgery is performed by the ENT Specialist.
